Here’s the poster I printed for the Roberts Street poster exchange.
I actually nailed the registration for once. I am slowly getting better at printing.
These will be for sale at the Halifax Crafters Holiday Handmade Market this weekend at the North Street Church in Halifax. There are a bunch of really nice posters that will be for sale & all proceeds to to Roberts Street.

2 Things,
first of all, I got blogged today for my robot vs yeti pic on a site called I love the yeti. This made my morning.
Also, I have a print in the upcoming Eyelevel art gallery fundraiser Silver and Gold.
Please go see the show & help support an awesome artist run centre. Eyelevel is turning 35 years old next year!

I printed these two fella’s last night with a wooden spoon and some elbow grease. I’m going to shoot for an edition of 25 - 30. It’s going to take a while, sure wish I had a press.

John Rambo, I can not get that line out of my head. I think it is hilarious.

Skull Steamship - I have been messing around with this image a lot,
hopefully this print will get it out of my head.
I’m working on my webstore again, so if you are interested in any of these or anything else keep tuned I’ll announce when the store is back up. God Bless!

Seriously, on your neck? You’ve either got no room left on your body, you are a lousy criminal, or some kind of asshole, congratulations!

I answered an open call to do a poster for Jucifer. Jucifer is really awesome, and I was pretty excited to do the poster. Finished it last night, and I’ll have to send it overnight tonight, I’ll post some color pics of the actual print later (the process was problematic to say the least). In the meantime here is the keyline.

Yesterday was new bed day. After 5 years of sleeping on an old mattress that I rescued from heather’s neighbour just at they were bringing it to the curb, we broke the bank and bought a new bed (with a little help from my dear sweet mother). I amĀ thoroughly enjoying the indidually wrapped coils of the rapture series double sized sleep system, rapture indeed.
Here’s a new drawing, and an old drawing, both with lighthouses.

I hope I can, I know I can! make some prints next week.
I’m back on the wagon at the inkstorm screenprinting collective, I worked open hours last night, and I’m going to again next tuesday.
Earlier on this summer, in a flurry of motivation & artistic inspiration I used the inkstorm studio to make a print for a print exchange in Utah. Making that print was so fun I immediately re-coated my screens, thinking I was back at it full force… here we are 4 months later, and the screens were still coated last night.
Here’s a tip, 4 month old emulsion doesn’t really hold up. I had to strip the screens. But I’m working open hours again next week and I’ve got a ton of drawings lying around so I’m going to get back on the horse. I’m feeling very motivated. I might even haul out my print gocco this weekend.
While working the open hours I met Colleen MacIsaac. She was in making covers for her new comic North Atlantic. I think she’ll be selling them at the Halifax Zine Fair this weekend.
